
Rose-Mary Harrington is a graduate of New College of Speech and Drama, England. Rose-Mary received her M.A. from the University of Arizona in Theatre/Playwriting. Her productions run from Coop Theatre East in New York, to the Kennedy Center, to Theatre Southwest. Rose-Mary was awarded the 2009 Oregon Literary Fellowship in Drama. Rose-Mary was the winner of 2014 New American Playwrights Project at the Utah Shakespeare Festival for Six Seconds. Her play Detained received an equity production by Up Theatre in New York in 2018. She was a 2020 finalist for the Thomas Wolfe Playwriting Award. Her monologue “Going Nowhere” was presented by Brave New World Theatre in 2020, published by Smith and Kraus in The Best Women’s Monologues 2021. Her play There Is No Dash was staged in August 2021 at the Haynes Brand Theatre in Winston-Salem. In 2022, Words Unsaid was live streamed by Stage Left Theatre and Aunty Cherub’s Table, a monologue, by Talking Horse Productions. Rose-Mary is a life member of the Dramatists Guild of America and an Associate of the Drama Board of Great Britain.
